Silo Atmospherics
The Silo's ambient environment is not stable. The instability does not exhibit a discernible pattern. The Office records the instability and proceeds.
Observed phenomena
- Hum. Persistent low-frequency tone, present at every recorded depth. Volume varies; pitch does not.
- Pressure. Slight positive pressure at entry points; reverses at exhaustive depth. The Office does not endorse explanations.
- Thermal. Stable through exhaustive depth except in the Thermal Vault subcomplex, where stability is the failure condition.
Operators are advised to note ambient changes during Descents and report on FILE.
