Apex Doctrine
Apex encounters are interactions with Silo entities that exceed the Office's standard description framework. The Office uses 'Apex' specifically and does not extend the term to lesser anomalies.
Access
Apex Directives are gated by ζ clearance. The Office considers clearance to be a procedural threshold, not an endorsement. Operators reaching ζ are inducted into the Apex Catalog automatically; the Catalog is itself classified.
Echo-touched gear
The Echo-touched set is the only Office-cataloged equipment recovered from an Apex chamber. The Office's possession of the set is itself anomalous. Operators issued Echo-touched gear receive an Office Memo of Acknowledgment; the Memo's contents are not for general circulation.
